Carmen is Customer Success Manager at Lilt and supports translators and businesses with their translation and localization projects and workflows. She has worked on machine translation for many years, previously in research and development positions at Iconic, eBay and SDL and has successfully built and deployed machine translation systems for many international businesses. She also has some experience in natural language processing, information retrieval and dialogue systems.
Her background is in Computer Science in which she has a Master’s degree from TU Dresden, Germany. But she is also passionate about languages and speaks several of them, including German, English and Italian.
